For sale at Debonar Watches: pre-owned Cartier Tank Louis 78087 from the '80s in yellow gold 18k, with a leather strap. The watch is in very good condition, while the strap has signs of use.
It is fitted with a “Paris” signed dial, with the “secret” Cartier signature.
A bit of its story:
Cartier introduced the Tank in 1917. The design of the Tank was inspired by the Renault FT-17 tanks. The Tank Louis Cartier was introduced in 1922, becoming immediately the quintessence of all the Cartier Tanks.
At first called “Tank à Bords Arrondis”, it was then changed to the name of its creator, Louis Cartier.
