Patek Philippe Calatrava Lady ref. 3245 18K Gold Case Rare Dial Signed Gübelin
For sale: pre-owned Patek Philippe Calatrava ref. 3245 in yellow gold 18k, from the '60s.
As a timeless elegance, the PP Calatrava is recognized the round wristwatch in its essence and one of the finest symbols of the Patek Philippe style.
Supremely refined, it charmed the new generation of watch lovers thanks to its neat lines.
This watch presents a very rare white dial signed Gübelin: during the 1950s, the larger and more established jewellers in any given city were almost famous, if not more famous, than the watch brands themselves.
Particularly so in their local market.
The most prestigious of these was occasionally allowed, with the agreement of the watch brand, to co-sign the dial as seen here. Gubelin is a famous Swiss watch retailer established in 1854 in Lucerne Switzerland and remains one of the biggest retailers of high-class watches and jewellery in Switzerland today.
The company is still owned by the same family, run by the sixth generation.
This 21mm graceful PP women watch features a solid 18k yellow gold case with a leather strap.
Since the launch of the first Calatrava watch in 1932, the range has evolved in many ways, yet still maintains a timeless sense of perfection.
