Rolex Yacht-Master 40 ref. 16623 Grey Dial - Oyster Bracelet
For sale: pre-owned Rolex Yacht-Master ref. 16623, on an oyster bracelet.
The Yacht-Master uses Rolesium, and this is when rugged stainless steel and precious yellow gold meet on a Rolex watch.
The case and bracelet are made of 904L stainless steel and gold, but the bezel of the watch is actually made completely in gold. These metals create a discreet contrast, difficult to pass unobserved on your wrist!
Yacht-Master dial prototypes first appeared in the 1960s. But the inaugural production model didn’t make its debut until the early 1990s. That said, the brand has been present in the world of sailing for decades.
Things started getting a little more interesting for the Yacht-Master collection in 1999. That’s when Rolex unveiled this ref. 16623.
